Right now, Im using HDS2cmamerica and so far everything is working fine with my cku system.

Files are dated and this information can be seen in the receiver.

To see the file date and other information, Press the Menu button on the remote and arrow down three times to Tools.

Press OK. Then Press OK on Information and the firmware information will be displayed under Version.

Example: The date of the file in the attached picture is 11th year, 1st month, second day.

Or 01-02-2011 quote 112008 I was refering to the dated the file has when I try to unzip.

The date show in the box after installation is HDS2 10-11-08 1023CM.

I think there was one on November 16 or sometime around then.

In fact, either the one you have or the one following introduced a bug where the box would randomly reboot when exiting the recording playback menu.

I havent tried the 2011 version yet to see if its been fixed.

All firmware issued after the October 1 firmware has the record reboot bug.

Thats the latest version I run when I need to watch certain channels on my dishes.

If you have more than one channel recording setup, the receiver shuts off after the first recording and the date and time is reset.

Multiple recordings seem to only work if the receiver is getting its time from the stream (and of course, all recorded channels must have the same time being fed).

When the receiver goes into standby after a recording the clock continues to run, but when it reboots to start the second recording, it resets the time to default and without the time in the stream to correct this, the second recording doesnt fire.

At least thats the way I understand it.) Its like all those pirate receivers that didnt bother to use a hardware clock, because the providers sent the time and date in the stream.
